UGIVE is a non-profit organization on a mission to catalyze, excite and empower the next generation of volunteers. We make philanthropy relevant to students, guiding them to give their time and talents to build communities.
We see the needs:
And meet them:
- Charities desperately need volunteers
- Give Charities a platform to reach volunteers
- Schools require community service
- Give Schools a single location to coordinate community service
- Students have time, energy and passion
- Give Students a familiar venue to get involved in volunteering
UGIVE is 100% focused on high school students, so parents, teachers and schools know that the volunteer opportunities are appropriate for high school students.
It's about the students
UGIVE gives students the power to choose, which means they're more likely to find their passion and keep volunteering. We also adapt to their needs based on direct feedback from students, highlighting the projects and charities that are mostly highly rated.
UGIVE is solely focused on high school students and developing new programs to meet their needs and harness their excitement and creativity. We will continue evolving, growing and embracing the ideas of the students we serve. In the future we will also enable and inspire students to think about volunteering in a new way, by providing grants to projects developed and driven by student
Students will be able to apply for grants in the areas of Health and Human Services, Education, Arts and Culture, Life and Environment, and Sports and Recreation (HEALS).
How do you get involved?
- Students: Register online, browse projects, and volunteer for worthwhile causes.
- Parents: Encourage your students to join UGIVE, volunteer at events with them, and be a school liaison encouraging your child's school to get engaged
- Charities: Post opportunities for students to volunteer on the UGIVE website.
- Anyone can support UGIVE financially. We're a 501 (c) (3) organization with public charity status and gifts are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
